playgroundIn the next 30 days, we will obtain grading permits & come under contract with GreenTech Excavation Inc. to perform the base bid scope of the project. We are pleased the bidding process went smoothly and received 6 strong bids. The Playground Improvement Project Committee will work with the General Contractor, School District & Barker Landscape Architects to determine dates in July, August, September, October for volunteer work parties to be performed. The goal is to involve over 150 individuals, who have pledged volunteer hours to the overall project success, at various stages of Phase I work. Creative Kids has donated childcare hours to the Playground Improvement Project success for parents to receive free childcare during the time they volunteer at designated work party events. The Legacy Campaign donor recognition bricks and pavers have been approved by the School District at the various donor levels. You can read more about this at viewlands.org We will finalize the engraved bricks and pavers “text” directly with individual donors, at the various donor levels, during the month of June!!!
